Job Responsibilities:
l Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
l Review and interpret construction drawings and project specifications for quantity take-offs.
l Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and prepare interim and final payment applications.
l Assess and evaluate variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with project stakeholders.
l Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
l Prepare tender documents, cost reports, and contractual correspondence.
l Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations, and project timelines.
l Conduct site visits to verify progress, measure completed work, and support valuation processes.
l Provide guidance to junior QS team members and assist in overall project cost management.
l Maintain and update all cost-related records, reports, and documentation.
Job Requirements:
l Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying or cost engineering experience in the UAE.
l Strong knowledge of UAE local market material prices, labor rates, and construction cost structure.
l Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and familiar with cost control software.
l Familiar with UAE construction contracts, terms, and local project practices.
l Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
l Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
