Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Technical Engineer / Quantity Surveyor(Civil)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and Procurement compliance with project requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. Assist in preparing cost estimates, and preparation of BOQs. Site support (from the head office) with the site team to ensure all requirements are clearly defined and met. Evaluating subcontractor quotations and supplier pricing. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and services, addressing any issues that may arise. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material requests are delivered on time and meet project requirements. Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and procurement for cost-related matters. Maintain proper documentation and records of all project activities. Prepare and submit material submittals for approval, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Prepare and manage engineering documents, including Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and other related technical documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 1-2 years of UAE experience within a contracting company Strong knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD. Good analytical and numerical skills. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
