We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Cost Controller Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring project budgets, analyzing costs, identifying variances, and ensuring financial efficiency across our landscaping and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor project budgets and prepare cost reports on a regular basis. Analyze variances between actual and estimated costs and recommend corrective actions. Support in preparing cost estimates and cash flow forecasts. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective operations. Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotations. Review invoices and support cost verification before approvals. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and client requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in cost control, preferably within the construction or landscaping industry. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel, Primavera). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with landscaping, irrigation, or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local market cost structures. Certification in cost engineering or project controls is an advantage.
