Develop, monitor, and maintain the project's cost control systems, budgets, and forecasts.
Track project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries for management.
Review and validate invoices, payment certificates, and cost-related documents.
Coordinate with procurement, finance, engineering, and project teams to ensure accuracy of cost data.
Identify cost risks, recommend corrective actions, and support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and financial standards.
Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost control reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, or project finance--preferably in construction, engineering, or similar industries.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient in cost control software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in large-scale projects.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Certification in cost control or project management is an advantage.
