Experience in cost control/accounting for at least 10 years, including 5 years with direct reports.

Job description

The Cost Analyst will be responsible but not limited to establishing the accurate and timely reporting financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting financial information. This is accomplished by timely and actively managing, supervising, communicating, executing, completing, and successfully closing out monthly financial statements.
  • Daily tracking, analysing, and controlling the costs associated with projects and cost centres.
  • Preparing monthly reporting with generous commentary to explain differences between reporting periods.
  • Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and
  • regulations.
  • Reconciling prepayments and provisions.
  • Advising other departments regarding correct cost allocation.
  • Tracking long-term and short-term lease contracts, insurance and assets costs. Advising the accounting department regarding missing invoices or booking necessary provisions.
  • Monitoring payment applications and WIP.
  • Daily updating Cash Flow forecast.
  • Assistance in creating various reporting forms in Excel and Power BI.
  • Practical usage of \xe2\x80\x9clokup/sumproduct/index/match\xe2\x80\x9d and others.
  • Participating in monthly closing during 3 days.
  • Advising the Financial Controller regarding the automatisation of processes.
  • Recommending financial actions by analysing accounting options.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.
  • Assisting during yearly audit.
Profile

Excellent MS Office skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial modelling) and MS PowerPoint.

Profound knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software. Knowledge of Xpedeon would be an advantage.

Results-driven with strong attention to details and the ability to manipulate a large amount of data with 100% accuracy.

Proven knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS, practices, laws and regulations.

Creative thinking skills to solve problems and look for continuous improvement.

Curiosity for deep analysis.
