: The purpose of this role is to provide Finance and Accounting processes directly within the company's Wells department for its projects. The role is focussed on SAP processes that are required to purchase goods and services to make payment to vendors and provides a key accountability in cost control. The role also supports budgeting and performance reporting processes.

Key Accountabilities & Duties Accountable for key elements of the RtP process (Requisition to Payment) for all Wells department contracts and invoices. Raise Purchase Requests, QA/QC invoices and raise Service Entries. Support Contract Holders to make approval for accurate payments. Process project invoices for Shell affiliated department charges Act as SAP super-user and provide expertise for Contract Holders to manage their invoices payments in SAP. Design and set-up of project WBS structures and network activities in SAP for new projects. Support the management of all other SAP-related processes in the Wells department. Focal Point for all RtP issues for NFWR department. Accountable for implementing sound financial practices in the organization to minimize financial exposure, enable cost allocation over different projects and assure cost recovery from third parties. Support Value of Work Done & Latest Estimate calculations for active projects. Prepare month-end accounting entries and reconcile project costs. Manage open vendor items in SAP on a weekly basis to Close-out outstanding invoice payments, vendor payment returns in consultation with Shell Business Operation Krakow. Prepare cost summary reports. Archive hard and soft copies of invoices for audit purposes. Support audits and audit preparations, and drive compliance in Finance processes. Monitor and report stock balances and value, and materials transfers, to support utilisation of materials and reducing of inventory and associated carrying costs Review monthly VOWD with the operational and business support teams Support contracting teams to determine proposed value of new contracts and track spend against contracts in line with expectations

No direct financial authority/accountability, but active involvement in the invoicing and cost recovery process: 100 contracts 150 invoices/month

Requirements 5+ years of experience in a project engineering Finance capacity with multiple vendors and high volume of invoices. SAP Expert / Super-user, able to teach other members of the team in its use. Knowledge of Finance processes and principles (>5 years' experience). Knowledge and experience of annual budgeting processes. Unquestionable business ethics and great discretion in dealing with vendors and internal cost centres for cost-related matters. Competent to perform analysis of transactional data and surface issues and insights that can be leveraged to enhance business performance.
