Job Summary:

Al Maimana Accounting & Bookkeeping LLC is seeking a

Cost Accountant

with solid experience in the

Food & Beverages (F&B) industry

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting for our clients in the F&B sector. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data to support decision-making and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze cost reports for clients within the Food & Beverage industry. Monitor and control manufacturing and operational costs to ensure cost efficiency. Develop and implement cost standards and procedures tailored to F&B operations. Conduct monthly variance analysis between actual and standard costs. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for food production and inventory management. Prepare cost allocation statements and ensure accurate product costing. Review and reconcile inventory valuation, wastage, and consumption reports. Support management in pricing decisions through cost analysis and profitability studies. Collaborate with clients to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial performance. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA preferred).

Minimum 1-3 years of experience

as a Cost Accountant in the

Food & Beverage industry

in the UAE. Strong understanding of F&B cost structures, including raw material, labor, and overhead costs. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and reporting procedures.
