Job Description
We are working with a world-renowned group based in Dubai that focus on the investment and delivery of projects for hospitality, commercial property and residential property clients across the Middle East and North Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America.
This is a terrifically exciting period for our client who are looking to add to the legal team where you will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer in a position of seniority. Day-to-day responsibilities include corporate work such as drafting and negotiating asset purchase and share purchase agreements. Other responsibilities include providing legal advice and guidance on all matters related to the company\xe2\x80\x99s operations, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and commercial contracts, such as service and vendor agreements.
Applicants must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of UAE legislative requirements. An understanding of the legal framework within GCC countries, including Saudi Arabia, would also be highly valued. Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience working for an international law firm in the region or from a global company with an in-house legal function. You must also have a legal qualification from Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand. Arabic language skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
Remuneration: \xc2\xa3150,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa3160,000 per annum tax free + benefits
