ROLE SUMMARY

The Corporate Income Tax Manager is responsible for all direct tax, international tax, transfer pricing and other applicable tax policies and procedures for all direct and indirect taxes in the UAE

ROLE PROFILE

Undertake all applicable compliances including ESR, CbCR, VAT, upcoming Corporate Tax, BEPS Pillar Two etc

Support in assessing tax and transfer pricing impact on new transactions and provide timely advise as required

Research and develop tax-saving strategies and develop recommendations

Liaise with the tax authorities for litigations and other tax compliance/representation

Participate in due diligence and structuring related to new openings, mergers and acquisition and divestures

Research the implications of tax laws and advise on tax related issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Guide financial planning department to assess the tax consequences of specific transactions and support reflecting tax calculations in the finance models

Propose to department head the yearly budget for relevant area and ensures the respect of the approved budget

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor\'s degree in Commerce/Economics/Finance

Certification as a CA, CPA, CTA

5+ years in a multinational tax environment

2+ years in retail business is preferred, but not mandatory

Good practical and technical tax knowledge in direct taxes including Transfer Pricing, ESR and Pillar Two

Expert knowledge in corporate tax, international tax, transfer pricing, substance reporting, CbCR, and related fields
