The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality daily meals for a private family in Abu Dhabi. The role requires hands-on cooking skills, strong hygiene standards, and the ability to manage meal preparation independently. Candidates must have prior UAE experience, preferably with catering exposure, and be adaptable to family preferences and dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for the family, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene
Plan menus in coordination with the family, taking into account dietary preferences, restrictions, and cultural requirements
Handle food preparation, cooking, and proper storage in line with food safety standards
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
Source ingredients as required and manage basic kitchen inventory
Support special events, gatherings, or small catering requirements when needed
Follow strict confidentiality and professionalism while working in a private household
Comply with UAE food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
Perform additional household-related cooking tasks as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as a Cook
Diploma or bachelor's degree in culinary or hospitality related field.
Catering experience is mandatory
Experience working in private families, villas, or high-end households is an advantage
Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Strong cooking and food preparation skills
Good understanding of hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Ability to plan menus and manage time efficiently
Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional attitude with a high level of discretion
