Job Description
Job Purpose
The Control Room Operator will be responsible for monitoring and managing site operations through surveillance systems, communication tools, and reporting mechanisms. The role ensures safety, security, and smooth coordination of activities at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment to detect and respond to security or operational issues.
- Coordinate with security staff, supervisors, and site teams during emergencies, incidents, or irregular activities.
- Maintain accurate logs and prepare incident/shift reports.
- Ensure effective communication via radio/telephone with site personnel and external emergency services when required.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and system alerts, escalating to management when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in security, communications, or operations is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a control room/security operations environment.
- Willingness to work in shift rotations (day/night/weekends).
- Must be able to sit for long periods and maintain high concentration.
- Knowledge of site-specific safety and security procedures.
