Contracts & Procurement Manager

to join our consultancy firm in

Abu Dhabi

. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in

contractual and commercial matters

, along with full-cycle

procurement experience

for both

design consultancy

and

construction projects

.

This role requires close coordination with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective procurement planning, contract administration, and commercial compliance across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all contractual and commercial aspects of projects from pre-award to post-award stages Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and procurement agreements Lead the end-to-end procurement process for

design consultants

and

construction contractors

, ensuring adherence to company and client policies Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with project timelines and budgets Liaise with legal, finance, and project teams to ensure all contracts are legally sound and financially viable Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and deliverables Identify and mitigate contractual risks and manage claims or disputes, as needed Maintain an updated procurement log and track all tendering, bidding, and award activities Ensure adherence to local regulations and company standards in all procurement activities Report regularly on procurement status, contract compliance, and cost control measures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum

10 years of total experience

, with at least

2 years in a Contracts & Procurement Manager role

Consultancy experience is mandatory

In-depth knowledge of UAE procurement regulations, FIDIC contracts, and commercial practices Strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle for design and construction services Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and procurement software Experience in the Abu Dhabi market is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in procurement or contract management (e.g., CIPS, MRICS, PMP) Experience with government or semi-government projects Knowledge of Estidama / sustainability requirements is a plus
