Job Description

Business Activity : Transportation & Waste Management Services Desired Skills:
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum three years of experience in tendering and estimation preferably in waste management industry
  • Good skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Record , receive and make reference numbers for RFQs.
  • Coordinate with client for site visits.
  • Prepare quotations in consultation with Operatios Manager.
  • Keep records of all quotations submitted and to follow up with clients on award status.
  • Keep records of win-loss ratios of quotation submitted and collect information on reasons behind loss of jobs.
  • Coordinate with credit control on payment terms for new clients.
  • Coordinate with clients for purchase of tenders.
  • Arrange to keep records of company information like CR, Municipality Documents, MME certificates, ISO certificates, HSE Docs, Organization Charts, Company profile etc.
  • To timely submit tender /bids with all requested attachments and information.
  • To ensure correctness of POs received and make sure all quotation terms are complied.
  • To keep a record of POs and contracts information like validity, number of trips and other conditions that will affect service performance and payment.
  • To prepare contracts with clients and get it approved with all supporting documents like quotation, costing.
  • To transmit new POs and Contract to Operations and to ensure all information for timely and safe performance of services are relayed.
  • To coordinate with finance to get job numbers for awarded jobs and to relay new price information for existing jobs.
  • To ensure all contracts are renewed well ahead of time and clients are informed in advance of PO and contract expiry dates
  • To maintain record of all client database with key information like name of company, type of business, contact person with mobile and email and keep them updated.
  • To prepare sales report weekly and submit to management on new business and /or additional business received with revenue projections from the same.
  • To coordinate with operations and relay any comments/complaints from clients for immediate resolution.
  • To prepare revenue information per month and to make presentation quarterly on divisions performance.
