to join our contracting division in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and administering contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires excellent knowledge of contractual terms, UAE laws, FIDIC standards, and strong coordination with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and UAE legal frameworks.
Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents, correspondence, and amendments.
Monitor contract performance and highlight potential risks or deviations.
Assist project managers in interpreting contract terms and conditions.
Prepare and review claims, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and other contractual notices.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and legal advisors regarding contractual issues.
Support procurement and commercial teams with contract-related matters.
Ensure that invoicing, payments, and financial aspects of contracts are aligned with terms agreed.
Provide regular reports to management on contract status, risks, and disputes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.
Minimum
5-8 years of experience
in contract administration within the UAE construction/contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of
FIDIC contracts, UAE laws, and construction regulations
.
Experience in claims preparation, dispute resolution, and commercial management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
