The ThinkMarkets marketing team is looking for an experienced content marketer to join our rapidly expanding global team! Are you passionate about the customer lifecycle and retention? Are you good at engaging and educating your audience? If so, we want to hear from you! The role: The role will sit within the content department and report to the Head of Content. You will work closely with Marketing, Creative and Product and Customer Service teams to ensure high quality content across all channels, including the website, emails, and various other customer communications. Your focus will be customer centric, bringing with you a deep understanding of the customer journey; creating and distributing content at all stages of the customer lifecycle. This role is for someone who understands customer marketing and how to bring it to life through the use of content across multiple platforms. Responsibilities:
  • Have a deep understanding of our customer base and connect with them in multiple forms, such as creating content for videos, blogs, emails, webinars, events, etc.
  • Assist in creating & driving the customer marketing strategy.
  • Know the ins and outs of our offering and know how to explain this clearly to our customers.
  • Work with customer service to research customer pain-points with the aim to reduce them.
  • Create and manage multiple journeys for different phases of the customer lifecycle, understanding customer needs and tailoring content to them at every stage.
  • Collaborate with the creative team and internal business partners to deliver highly effective initiatives.
  • Have a firm understanding of our company – what we do, who our clients are, what we communicate to them (and why), using those insights to shape and support our content strategy.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' proven experience within customer content marketing
  • Experience working within financial services or trading is a must
  • Proven track record of creating and owning customer journeys
  • A very good understanding of content marketing, the marketing funnel as a whole and on-boarding journeys
  • A good understanding of email marketing desired but not essential
  • A highly creative approach, able to think outside the box and willing to test different approaches to find the right one
  • Experience in UI/UX content creation
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Excellent writing, editing & proofreading skills in both long, short and creative copy
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • International experience is highly desirable
  • PR experience is a plus
