The Cityscape portfolio equips industry professionals with up-to-date material, matchmaking and micro-analysis via in person conferences and exhibitions, data trends analysis, insightful webinars, podcasts and customised articles. With a focused content & data platform, Cityscape Intelligence, and with events taking place across the Middle East and North Africa, the Cityscape brand is tapped into the real estate market across a spectrum of markets.

The Cityscape portfolio is seeking an enthusiastic, well-organised individual with strong English language skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a good eye for detail to join the team as an editor on Cityscape Intelligence, an online content hub providing year-round business intelligence for the real estate investment community in the MENA. Cityscape Intelligence provides news, cutting-edge features and analysis on real estate investment and development in both global and local markets, with thought provoking commentary on new trends, regulations, projects and developments.

Role and responsibilities:

Responsible for writing, researching and curating fresh, relevant, and informative content on the regional real estate industry for Cityscape Intelligence.

Write SEO optimised copy to drive traffic and engagement to Cityscape Intelligence.

Establish partnerships with a wide network of contributors from across the industry.

Craft and refine ideas, cultivate sources and build relationships with the industry.

Responsible for creating and maintaining editorial calendar in conjunction with Cityscape's calendar of events.

Managing freelance writers and contributors to build high-quality pool of writers from across the MENA region.

Working closely with the head of content and content marketer to ensure that content strategy is aligned across the portfolio.

Ownership of our monthly podcast series, developing topics and interviewing industry stakeholders together with head of content.

Copy-edit and proofread assigned content.

Provide coverage from events.

Conduct audio and video interviews.

Help drive our digital content strategy through in-depth research and industry knowledge.
Qualifications
Position requirements:

Minimum of 3-years' experience in B2B writing.

Excellent written command of English.

A proven track record of strong writing and reporting skills across a variety of content formats - reports, podcasts, etc.

Proven SEO experience and creating content for online audiences.

Familiarity with web content management systems SEO principles, and digital analytics software.
