Job Description
- Assign and edit of a wide range of content, ensuring that it is aligned with the house style and messaging.
- Content includes press materials, stories for the website (News), in-depth internal reports and presentation decks.
- Write clear, compelling and on brand copy and content for various mediums across the brand including digital media, website, EDMs, socials, wholesale marketing and packaging
- Contribute to developing creative concepts for marketing initiatives in response to marketing briefs
- Develop and execute copy for brand and product campaigns including creative & aspirational taglines
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Manage copy proofs, feedback, and changes
- Be aware of and understand strategies and objectives from different departments to inform creative copy output.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of strategic communication objectives and goals by providing innovative communications content
The Successful Applicant
- Significant experience, at least 6 years, in a relevant sector (e.g. content writing and management)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications or related discipline)
- Experience in both copywriting and journalism is preferred
- You are a grammar and punctuation wiz.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Hands on experience with managing agencies
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
