Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric oncology and hematology conditions including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors
• Perform and oversee autologous and allogeneic pediatric bone marrow transplantation procedures
• Lead multidisciplinary tumor boards and BMT case discussions
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment and transplant protocols
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, fellows, and allied healthcare staff in pediatric oncology and BMT care
• Manage pre-transplant evaluation, conditioning regimens, post-transplant care, and long-term follow-up
• Ensure adherence to international standards, accreditation requirements, and hospital policies
• Provide detailed counseling and education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, transplant risks, and post-transplant care
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency coverage as required
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Contribute to clinical research, trials, audits, and CME activities

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree MD or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation
• Minimum 5 years post-fellowship consultant-level experience in pediatric oncology and BMT
• Eligibility for Department of Health Abu Dhabi licensure
• Western training or education in a recognized healthcare system
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
