Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric oncology and hematology conditions including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors
• Perform and oversee autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation procedures
• Lead multidisciplinary case discussions and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and fellows in pediatric oncology and BMT protocols
• Ensure adherence to international standards of care, hospital policies, and patient safety requirements
• Participate in clinical trials, research initiatives, and continuous medical education activities
• Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment options, transplant processes, and post-transplant care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical documentation
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency coverage as required

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree MD or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation is mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric oncology and BMT
• Eligibility for DOH-HAAD licensure in the UAE
• Western-trained background preferred
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes
