Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays, and genetic syndromes.
• Perform and interpret EEGs, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, including emergency neurological care.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation teams, and genetic specialists for integrated treatment plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary reviews, clinical audits, and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Counsel and educate families about condition management, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Contribute to research projects, CME programs, and academic teaching activities.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pediatric Neurology (American Board, Royal College, or equivalent).
• Subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology or Pediatric Epilepsy preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting.
• Eligible for DOH Consultant license in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong diagnostic and procedural expertise in pediatric neurology.
• Family-centered communication and culturally sensitive approach.
