Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist to join a leading tertiary-care hospital in Saudi Arabia. The role involves providing advanced pediatric emergency care, overseeing acute medical and trauma cases, and contributing to clinical governance and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard emergency care to pediatric patients, from neonates to adolescents
• Manage medical and surgical emergencies, including trauma, infectious disease, and respiratory distress
• Lead multidisciplinary resuscitation teams and support complex triage cases
• Mentor junior physicians and allied health professionals in emergency protocols
• Collaborate with pediatric ICU, surgical specialties, and laboratory teams for comprehensive care
• Contribute to training programs, audits, and research where applicable
• Ensure compliance with MOH and JCIA standards in clinical documentation and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent), with completion of pediatric and emergency training
• Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience, preferably in tertiary hospitals
• Valid professional licensure or eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Consultant classification
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous
