Position Overview
A leading hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly experienced and board-certified Consultant IVF Specialist to join its reproductive medicine and fertility care team. While recruitment and onboarding are managed through Dubai, the role itself is based in Abu Dhabi. The position focuses on delivering advanced assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including IVF, ICSI, and fertility preservation, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fertility assessments including history-taking, imaging, hormonal profiling, and genetic testing.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans for ovulation induction, IUI, IVF/ICSI, and donor programs.
• Perform and supervise fertility procedures such as oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy.
• Provide detailed counseling to patients and couples on prognosis, risks, success rates, and options such as PGT-A/M and surrogacy.
• Collaborate with embryologists, andrology lab staff, and nursing teams to optimize lab protocols and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, DOH regulations, and hospital protocols.
• Participate in departmental audits, CME activities, and research initiatives in reproductive medicine.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine / IVF.
• Board-certified (UK CCT, American Board, RCPSC, Facharzt, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in IVF and assisted reproductive technologies.
• Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure in Abu Dhabi.
• Demonstrated record of successful IVF outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
