Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert care and consultation for expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies and complex fetal conditions.
• Conduct advanced fetal assessments, including detailed ultrasound scans and genetic testing.
• Perform prenatal diagnostic and therapeutic interventions such as fetal blood sampling, intrauterine transfusions, and fetal shunt placements.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, neonatologists, and genetic counselors to design and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and clearly communicate findings and treatment options to patients and families.
• Participate in departmental research, CME activities, and contribute to publications in fetal medicine.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, UAE healthcare regulations, and best-practice standards.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from an accredited university.
• Specialist qualification in Fetal Medicine with board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Minimum of 5 years of consultant-level experience in fetal medicine.
• Proven expertise in fetal assessment, diagnosis, and intrauterine procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family counseling.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based maternal-fetal care.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
