Line
Our Regulatory Advisory practice supplies a range of services to regulatory authorities, licensed financial institutions and other relevant organizations. Partnering with our colleagues in Business Risk Services, Forensics, Business Consulting among others, our work falls broadly into the following areas: Regulatory Compliance Advisory, Prudential Regulations, Compliance Governance and Assurance among others.
As a Consultant some of your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) projects for financial institutions and regulated entities across the UAE and region
Working closely with senior team members to assist clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, strengthening governance frameworks, and managing risk effectively
Assist in reviewing policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international best practices
Supporting the development and enhancement of governance structures, including board and committee charters, risk management policies, and compliance programmes
Participating in risk identification and mitigation exercises across operational, compliance, and financial risk areas
Gaining experience in Sharia-compliant banking principles and assisting in projects involving Islamic Finance governance and regulatory requirements
Conducting gap assessments against regulatory standards and assist in drafting recommendations for improvements
Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for client meetings. Contributing to proposals and business development initiatives
Staying updated on UAE regulatory developments, Islamic Finance guidelines, and global GRC trends, while sharing valuable insights with clients and the internal team

Skills
Think you've got what it takes to be a Consultant? Like the color purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:
3+ years of related work experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance, regulatory advisory or related roles within financial services or top international consulting firm
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Law or related field
Qualified level candidate of professional qualification or pursuing (ICA, FRM, CIA) and/ or Islamic Finance qualifications (CIPA)
Exposure to Islamic finance is advantageous
Familiarity with UAE Central Bank regulations and GRC best practices is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment is required
Excellent verbal written, and presentation skills in English are required, Arabic is advantageous
Travelling on a regular basis to clients is expected
Confident individual with an independent and structured way of working
