Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon specializing in Burns to join a leading healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide expert surgical care to patients with severe burns, lead multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to advancing clinical standards in burn management and reconstructive surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced burn surgeries, including skin grafting, debridement, tissue reconstruction, and microsurgical repair.
• Manage post-burn rehabilitation, scar revision, and reconstructive procedures to restore function and aesthetics.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with anesthesiologists, plastic surgeons, and intensive care specialists.
• Ensure adherence to strict infection control, patient safety, and surgical quality standards.
• Contribute to clinical research, continuous quality improvement, and surgical training initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior surgeons and medical residents.

Ideal Profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.
• Board certification in General Surgery or Burns Surgery.
• Fellowship in Burns and Reconstructive Surgery preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of post-board experience in a tertiary burns or trauma center.
• Proven expertise in microsurgical techniques and complex burn management.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
