? Role Summary
Seeking a Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Burns to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on advanced surgical management of severe burns, including reconstructive and critical care interventions.
? Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex burn surgeries: skin grafting, microsurgery, debridement, scar revision
- Lead multidisciplinary care teams for comprehensive treatment planning
- Uphold surgical safety, infection control, and best practices
- Contribute to clinical research, quality improvement, and education
- Oversee long-term rehabilitation, including physiotherapy and psychological support
- MBBS + Board Certification in General/Burns Surgery
- Fellowship in Burns & Reconstructive Surgery
- 6+ years post-certification experience in tertiary burns care
- Expertise in wound healing, microsurgery, and critical burn care
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
