Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures across elective and emergency cases

• Participate in surgical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities
• Mentor junior surgeons and contribute to continuous medical education programs
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records in full compliance with DOH standards
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Ideal Profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with completed specialty training in General Surgery
• Recognized board certification in General Surgery
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience with consultant-level responsibilities
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Eligibility for DOH Consultant licensing in Abu Dhabi
• Strong surgical judgment and patient-centered care approach
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural, multidisciplinary clinical environment
• Experience in women's health surgical care is an advantage
