Job Title: Consultant in Diabetic Foot Surgery - Saudi Arabia

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant in diabetic foot surgery for a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Role Overview:
As a Consultant in Diabetic Foot Surgery, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and effective care to patients with diabetic foot conditions. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients, offering expert advice and guidance on surgical interventions for diabetic foot problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diabetic foot conditions, including wound evaluation, circulation status, and neurological examination.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's condition and needs, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as debridement, offloading, and other interventions to address diabetic foot ulcers and infections.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care, including wound care and infection management.
- Educate and counsel patients on self-care techniques and prevention of diabetic foot complications.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists to develop and implement best practices for managing diabetic foot conditions.
- Participate in research and clinical trials related to diabetic foot care and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in diabetic foot surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in diabetic foot surgery.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in the Middle East.
- Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
