Project managers plan, manage, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects from development to completion.
Deliver the project within agreed time, scope, quality, budget, and safety.
Provide comprehensive day-to-day field supervision at the site. Ensure all construction is being performed to quality standards in compliance with design specifications, drawings, budget and schedule
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to involved staff and contractors
Strong organization and management skills
Effective interpersonal skills and working cooperatively and effectively within a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks and coordination of work crews concurrently
Ensure that all civil activities within the designated areas are well planned, coordinated and be able to utilize all available resources in coordination with other functional Managers in directing and supervising all involved site personnel and subcontractors.
Co-ordinate and optimize the arrangement of daily activities tasked to the construction crews and external subcontractors to minimize lost productivity time
Planning Execution of substation civil work both sub structure and superstructure construction activities.
Perform inspections at completion of each construction phase, and sign-off on quality of workmanship along with crew leaders and external subcontractors
Liaising with clients and variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors.
Reviewing the project progress in line with the baseline and prioritizing the critical activities.
Resolving design and development problems & Managing budgets and project resources.
Know how in most recent concrete, shuttering and decking system technology (Jump form, Hydraulic, Lift slab, Permanent shutter, finishing material, M.E.P. works.
Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
Monitoring the cost to value of labors, materials, staffs, preliminaries, during execution to meet the budgets, time and quality.
Ensure Revenue Forecast vs. cost, Cost estimation, cost and value, timely payments, MIS, O.M Manuals, snag, OEM, PQ, Safety Plans, Cash flow statements, commercial proposals, Mitigation of time overrun and cost overrun, BCC, Risk analysis
Register, OA and FM in defect liability period, Identifying / prequalify and appointing vendors of PC/PS items, review and finalize spec of PS and PC items.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's Degree preferred).
Minimum 18-23 years of experience in high-rise building construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role in Dubai.
