Job Description

Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies and confirms the availability of resources needed and assigns individual work responsibilities for look-ahead schedules and for the execution of daily construction efforts. Timely advises Project Manager of shortfalls and develops contingency plans to ensure that work stays on schedule and budget. Manages and executes day-to-day aspects of a project's construction and scope. Reviews plans for and manages the execution of all work by his subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and firm personnel. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Provides confirmation and documentation of work performed for billing purposes. Minimizes MVL's exposure and risk on the project. Ensures work is performed safely and timely in accordance with the contract documents and proactively and retroactively alerts the project manager issues. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties. Delivers project on time, safely, within budget, to the standards specified.
