Construction Manager (Utility Infrastructure)

Position: Construction Manager (Utility)
Note: Only candidates with extensive Utility Infrastructure experience will be considered.
CCECC is a leading international construction contractor with a significant portfolio of major infrastructure projects in the UAE. We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Construction Manager specializing in Utility Infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Dubai.
? Key Responsibilities:
As the Construction Manager (Utility), you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all utility construction works. Your key duties will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead, manage, and oversee all on-site utility construction activities, including water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and electrical networks.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for consultants, clients, and local authorities (e.g., RTA, DEWA, DM, Etisalat, DU) for all utility-related matters, including approvals, NOCs, and inspections.
• Technical Review & Approval: Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and utility layout designs to ensure full compliance with project specifications and authority regulations.
• Site Management: Monitor site progress, quality, and safety compliance. Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and logistical issues in the field to ensure alignment between design intent and construction execution.
• Quality & Commissioning: Collaborate with the Planning and QA/QC teams to facilitate inspection requests, testing, and the successful commissioning of all utility systems.

? Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with a specific focus on utility infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale utility diversion and installation projects.
• In-depth knowledge and established relationships with Dubai's key authorities (RTA, DEWA, DM, etc.) and their procedures.
• Strong expertise in reading and interpreting utility drawings, specifications, and authority guidelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
