The Role

Position Title:

Construction Manager - Facade / Cladding Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Industry: Contracting / Construction Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite About the Role A leading contracting firm in Dubai is seeking a skilled Construction Manager - Facade / Cladding to oversee the full execution of facade and external envelope works across complex, high-rise, and large-scale developments. The role requires deep technical expertise in facade systems, exceptional project coordination skills, and experience managing specialist subcontractors in a dynamic construction environment. Key Responsibilities o Lead, plan, and manage all facade and cladding works from mobilization through to project completion. o Ensure execution aligns with approved designs, technical specifications, and quality standards. o Liaise with consultants, design teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and coordinate engineering solutions. o Monitor installation activities and ensure alignment with project schedules, safety standards, and regulatory approvals. o Supervise subcontractors and facade specialists, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and workmanship standards. o Manage inspections, QA/QC procedures, mock-ups, and material approvals related to external envelope works. o Coordinate with internal project managers, structural engineers, and architectural teams to ensure facade integration with overall building systems. o Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews; generate status reports for senior stakeholders. o Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices are strictly adhered to across facade work areas.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. o Minimum 10 years of experience in facade and cladding construction, with at least 5 years in the UK or GCC. o Strong knowledge of unitized, stick system, curtain wall, ACP, GRC, stone cladding, and ventilated facade systems. o Experience in overseeing facade works on high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developments. o Familiarity with local building regulations, facade design codes, and authority requirements. o Proficient in interpreting facade drawings, shop drawings, and engineering details. o Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Preferred Candidate: o Experience with Tier-1 contracting firms or international facade specialists. o Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). o Strong communication and reporting skills; fluent in English. o PMP or facade-specific certifications are an advantage.
