Construction Manager
Job Description
Plan, schedule, and supervise construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure)
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workers
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and timelines
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards
Manage permits, inspections, and legal documentation
Resolve construction issues, delays, or conflicts on-site
Communicate project updates to clients, engineers, and architects
Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
Identify and mitigate construction risks
Ensure adherence to environmental and labor regulations
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Several years of experience in construction or project management
Relevant certifications (e.g., DM, Trakhees) are a plus
