Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling:
Develop project timelines, set milestones, and create detailed work schedules.Budgeting & Cost Control:
Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, track expenses, and approve invoices.Team Management:
Hire, supervise, and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and other specialists.Quality Control:
Ensure work meets required standards, reviewing designs and inspecting site activities.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce building codes, safety regulations, and maintain daily logs.Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact, providing updates to clients, architects, and engineers, and resolving conflicts.Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate potential problems, delays, or emergencies.Procurement:
Oversee the selection and purchase of materials and equipment.Daily Activities
Morning site briefings and inspections. Reviewing project documents (plans, specs, contracts). Holding meetings with team members and clients. Troubleshooting on-site issues. Documenting progress and managing reports.
