Job Title Construction Manager

A reliable Construction Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. Be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

o Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

o Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

o Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors

o Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory

o Meet contractual conditions of performance

o Review the work progress on daily bases

o Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

o Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses

o Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Requirements and skills

o Proven working experience in construction management.

o Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

o Understanding of all facets of the construction process

o Familiarity with construction management software packages

o Competent in conflict and crisis management

o Excellent time and project management skills

WORK EXPERIENCE:

With Minimum 15 years experience in the civil constructions specifically with Industrial, commercial and residential Building works.

ACADEMIC EDUCATION:

o Bachelor /Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university
