Job Description

Position Summary:

The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with real estate developers in the UAE, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to design and quality standards while complying with local authorities' regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution

Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities from start to finish. Manage the day-to-day operations of contractors, consultants, and suppliers. Ensure project milestones, timelines, and budgets are met. Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance. Lead weekly site meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure construction quality aligns with design intent, specifications, and company standards. Monitor adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, RERA, etc.). Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with design, MEP, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure smooth project execution. Liaise with local authorities for permits, NOCs, and inspections. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.

Cost & Time Control

Review and approve project schedules and progress reports. Evaluate variation claims, cost impact assessments, and change orders. Support procurement in contractor selection and contract negotiation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum

8-12 years of experience

in construction management, with at least

5 years in the UAE

working with

real estate developers

(not just contractors). Strong understanding of UAE building codes, authority approval processes, and construction standards. Proven track record of managing

high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects

. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and AutoCAD.
