Project based in Syria (deployment in Aleppo, Idlib, and Damascus areas). Work will be primarily site-based inside Syria.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily construction activities for substations and transmission lines.
Supervise contractor performance, schedule, manpower, and quality.
Review and approve construction methods, materials, and site safety plans.
Manage inspection requests, work permits, and interface between civil, electrical, and protection teams.
Provide weekly progress and risk reports to the Project Director.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and FIDIC conditions.
Qualifications (RFP requirements)
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical or Civil Engineering
(Master's an advantage).
15 years' total experience
, including at least
10 years in construction management
of transmission or substation projects (? 132 kV).
Proven ability to manage multiple EPC contractors and multicultural site teams.
Familiarity with
World Bank / IFI
projects and
international safety standards
.
Fluency in Arabic required; English proficiency desirable.
