Job Description

Job Summary:
The Construction Manager oversees and directs construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:

• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure clarity and feasibility.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

On-Site Supervision & Quality Control:

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to building codes.
• Resolve any on-site issues, delays, or conflicts that may arise.

Budget & Cost Management:

• Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Approve contractor invoices and track financial progress against the budget.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free worksite.
• Ensure all permits and legal documents are obtained and up to date.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for workers.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Liaise with local authorities and inspectors as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in construction management, preferably in [residential/commercial/industrial] projects.
• Certifications: OSHA 30, PMP, or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) a plus.
