The

Construction Manager

is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects from start to finish. The role involves ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also managing the workforce, materials, and site operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects. Coordinate with project stakeholders including engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. Monitor and ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and safety regulations. Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contractual documents. Supervise site activities and manage site engineers, foremen, and workers. Conduct site inspections and ensure work is done according to approved plans and quality standards. Prepare progress reports and report regularly to senior management. Resolve any on-site issues or delays and ensure smooth project execution. Ensure adherence to safety standards and implement site safety protocols. Verify material orders and manage deliveries, inventory, and logistics. Conduct regular meetings with site staff and contractors to discuss progress and resolve challenges.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction project management (GCC/UAE experience preferred). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proven leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale developments. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

Preferred Qualities:

Experience with high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, or villa projects. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.).
