Job Summary:

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating with project stakeholders, supervising site teams, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering high-quality construction outcomes. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and deep knowledge of the UAE construction landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise all construction site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and strategies aligned with project goals. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and site staff. Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design specifications, drawings, and local regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DEWA, etc.). Enforce safety and quality standards on-site according to HSE requirements and industry best practices. Manage project budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance. Participate in procurement planning, contractor selection, and negotiation. Handle project documentation, including reports, permits, inspections, and certifications. Resolve construction issues, delays, or disputes promptly and efficiently. Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders. Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and inspections to track project status.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in the UAE. Strong understanding of Dubai's construction laws, approval processes, and safety standards. Proficient in construction management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.). PMP certification or similar (preferred).
