Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced

Construction Manager for an immediate start

to oversee the construction of high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, specifically in the high-rise building sector. The role involves leading and managing the construction process from inception to completion while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the construction team on site, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards. Oversee all aspects of construction activities, ensuring that the project is executed according to approved plans, specifications, and relevant regulations. Develop and manage detailed project schedules and ensure all milestones are met in a timely manner. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment throughout the project. Prepare and manage budgets, track project expenditures, and take corrective actions when necessary to prevent cost overruns. Ensure compliance with local construction laws, health and safety regulations, and quality control standards. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, preparing reports on construction activities. Address any problems or delays on site promptly and implement solutions to maintain project timelines. Review project drawings and documents to ensure that all requirements are accurately captured. Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all construction activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in managing construction projects, particularly high-rise buildings, in the UAE or similar markets. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management techniques, and local regulations in Dubai and the UAE. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and interact with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals. Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget. Expertise in contract management, risk management, and quality assurance processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in construction management software and MS Office Suite. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. UAE driving license preferred.
