Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead, manage, and supervise the construction site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to the required quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Construction Manager coordinates site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans, drawings, and specifications. Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials effectively. Monitor progress and resolve site-related issues promptly. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors. Conduct site meetings to review progress, address challenges, and implement solutions. Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet performance, quality, and timeline expectations. Enforce strict compliance with quality standards, codes, and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure safe working practices. Monitor and control site expenditures against approved budgets. Optimize resource utilization to minimize wastage and cost overruns. Assist in reviewing and certifying subcontractor payments and variations. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. Maintain accurate site records, logs, and as-built documentation. Highlight project risks, delays, and propose corrective actions to management. Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and workforce. Provide guidance, motivation, and mentorship to ensure high performance. Resolve conflicts and maintain a disciplined work environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum

12 years of experience

in building construction, with at least

3-5 years in a managerial/supervisory role

. Proven track record in managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and building codes.
