Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Construction Manager

with a proven track record in delivering high-rise building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have extensive

contracting experience

, in-depth knowledge of local regulations and building codes, and the ability to lead large on-site teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

Manage the overall site construction activities for high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use buildings, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications.

Team Management:

Supervise and coordinate site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and labor teams. Monitor workforce performance and productivity.

Planning & Scheduling:

Collaborate with planning teams to develop and maintain construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed.

Contracting Oversight:

Ensure strict adherence to contract documents, scope of work, and client specifications. Handle contract administration, variations, and claims.

Quality Assurance:

Enforce quality control standards and inspection protocols in compliance with UAE construction codes and project requirements.

Health & Safety:

Implement and maintain HSE policies to ensure a safe working environment on-site, as per UAE standards.

Client & Consultant Liaison:

Act as the primary point of contact for consultants, clients, and stakeholders. Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.

Procurement Coordination:

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Cost Control:

Work with project controls to track budgets, manage expenditures, and control cost overruns.

Problem Solving:

Quickly address and resolve any design discrepancies, construction challenges, or unforeseen issues that arise during execution.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's Degree is a plus). Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE focused on

high-rise building projects

. Must have

strong contracting background

, preferably with Tier-1 or reputable contracting firms. In-depth knowledge of UAE construction laws, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and other regulatory authorities' requirements. Proven experience in managing large teams and subcontractors on complex, high-value projects. Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
