Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven

Project Engineer

with a proven track record in

high-rise building construction

within the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive

contracting experience

, strong technical and project coordination skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables are met in terms of

quality, safety, schedule, and cost

in accordance with the contract specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and execution of high-rise building construction projects from inception to completion. Coordinate all engineering and construction activities among consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the in-house team. Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Monitor daily site progress and ensure that work is being performed as per approved drawings and method statements. Provide technical guidance to the site team and solve on-site construction issues promptly. Prepare and update project schedules, procurement logs, and work programs in coordination with the Planning Engineer. Ensure effective implementation of project quality and safety plans. Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.). Maintain proper documentation for all project activities, including RFI, MIR, WIR, NCR, etc. Assist the Project Manager in cost control, variation claims, and progress reporting. Lead and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors. Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports for internal and client updates.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum

7-10 years of experience

in the UAE,

specifically in high-rise building construction

. Strong background working with

leading main contractors

in the region. Deep understanding of UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and approval processes. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Valid UAE driving license (preferred). Professional certification (e.g., PMP, UAE Society of Engineers membership) is an advantage.
