Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with UAE regulations.

Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will oversee daily construction operations on-site, coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants, and ensure that all construction works meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.

Ensure construction works are executed according to approved plans, schedules, and specifications.

Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Monitor site progress and prepare regular construction reports.

Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

Resolve construction-related issues and delays efficiently.

Control site resources, productivity, and workmanship quality.

Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of total construction experience.

At least 2 years of experience in the UAE working specifically as a Construction Manager.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, site management, and UAE regulations.

Proven ability to manage multiple site activities and teams.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.

Strong understanding of HSE standards and site safety practices.

Having previous experience working in Abu Dhabi especially for governmental projects.

Valid UAE driving license is required.
