Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of infrastructure construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget, and schedule. Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, procurement strategies, and risk management protocols, to optimize project outcomes. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project requirements. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and forecast costs, identifying and mitigating potential financial risks throughout the project lifecycle. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while maintaining strong working relationships. Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise during construction, providing timely and effective solutions to keep projects on track. Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, cost summaries, and change orders, to keep stakeholders informed of project status. Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and permitting requirements, minimizing the environmental impact of construction activities. Champion a culture of safety, promoting safe work practices and actively participating in safety training and incident investigations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Possesses a Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering, Construction Management

, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in infrastructure principles. Holds a

Professional Engineer (PE)

license or equivalent certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and expertise.

ADM (Abu Dhabi Municipality License) / DM (Dubai Municipality License)

is an advantage. Minimum of

10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure construction,

with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of various infrastructure types, including roads, bridges, utilities, and public transportation systems. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and other relevant construction technologies. Exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively managing diverse teams and interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Possesses a thorough understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions. Exhibits strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage project budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Demonstrates a commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
