Position Overview
The Construction Engineer role at Parsons Corporation in Abu Dhabi supports the monitoring, inspection, coordination, and documentation of road and infrastructure works. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works are carried out strictly in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and contract requirements
• Maintain a detailed daily site diary covering work activities, issues, approvals, rejections, labor, equipment usage, and hours of operation
• Interface with the public and adjacent stakeholders to mitigate construction impacts and maintain site coordination
• Coordinate daily with contractor foremen to guide proper execution of works
• Coordinate with discipline inspectors to arrange sampling, testing, and quality assurance for completed and suspect works
• Coordinate with surveyors to verify line, level, and grade of ongoing and completed works
• Report questionable construction methods or practices to the Assistant Resident Engineer or Resident Engineer
• Report contractor non-compliance, workmanship issues, or deviations from drawings and specifications
• Process inspection requests and maintain accurate records of their status
• Maintain detailed records for works performed on a day works basis
• Actively participate in site health and safety activities in coordination with project safety representatives
• Maintain professional and firm communication with contractors to ensure compliance and progress

Ideal Profile

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Fully computer literate with experience using engineering and construction software for records, reporting, and data management
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
