with a proven track record working on large-scale infrastructure and utility projects, particularly those under
ADDC

TAQA
, and
MUSANADA
standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, supervision, and execution of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and government infrastructure projects in compliance with local authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and implement electrical systems in accordance with
ADDC, TAQA, and MUSANADA
guidelines and specifications.
Develop electrical drawings, layouts, and load calculations for power distribution, lighting, earthing, and ELV systems.
Coordinate with local authorities and utility providers for design approvals and inspections.
Supervise site electrical works including cable laying, MDB/SDB installations, LV panels, and testing/commissioning.
Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi's regulatory standards, including ADDC's electrical installation rules.
Prepare submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for authority approvals.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Review BOQs and assist in procurement of materials as per approved specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections, issue NCRs, and close out QA/QC observations in coordination with the site team.
Ensure safety standards and permit-to-work systems are followed strictly on site.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum [5+] years of experience in construction electrical engineering, including direct involvement with
ADDC, TAQA, and MUSANADA
projects.
Strong understanding of local authority standards, design codes (e.g., DEWA/ADDC regulations), and international codes (IEC, NEC).
Experience with high-rise buildings, substations, villas, schools, and/or infrastructure projects under government or semi-government clients.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and MS Office; knowledge of ETAP or similar software is an advantage.
Strong project coordination and documentation skills.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
Desirable Experience:
Successful handling of
utility NOCs, load approvals, and final inspections
with ADDC/TAQA.
Previous execution of
electrical works in government projects under MUSANADA
.
Familiarity with
TAQA power distribution standards
and involvement in grid connection works or DCRP submissions.
