Key Responsibilities

• Serve as SCA Accredited Compliance Officer for the Asset Management business.
• Provide comprehensive compliance coverage to ensure effective implementation of compliance frameworks.
• Oversee full compliance with SCA regulations across asset management operations.
• Manage AML and CTF frameworks to safeguard the integrity and reputation of FAB Asset Management.
• Lead regulatory change management, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory expectations.
• Develop and deliver compliance training for business teams and functional departments.
• Liaise with SCA and ensure timely submission of reports and regulatory documentation.
• Provide regulatory guidance on SCA requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor compliance review programs to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
• Support new product compliance assessments and advise the business on regulatory fit.
• Contribute to the fund approval process by ensuring compliance with all SCA requirements.
• Collaborate with internal partners on escalated compliance issues.
• Track and communicate updates related to compliance regulations and policy changes.
• Manage direct reporting responsibilities to the board and administrative reporting to the CEO.

Ideal Profile

• Meets SCA accreditation requirements, including academic qualifications, professional certifications, and SCA exam completion.
• Strong knowledge of asset management compliance and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience designing and implementing compliance controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prior MLRO experience and understanding of AML/CTF risks across higher-risk regions and products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage due to regulatory interaction.
