Halliburton is seeking a Compliance Investigator to actively handle a broad range of Code of Business Conduct (COBC) investigations, including international investigations of fraud, financial wrongdoing and alleged violations of U.S. and international laws. The Compliance Investigator will also be responsible for programmatic initiatives including compliance training and global risk assessments.

**This position is headquartered in Houston, TX, but management is open to candidates working remotely from Dubai.
Responsibilities
Lead internal investigations of alleged violations of the COBC, as well as U.S. and international laws, including creating investigation plans, conducting interviews, analyzing potential evidence, reviewing financial and accounting documents, preparing investigation reports, and presenting investigative results to management.
Supervise initial triage conducted by paralegals, as well as investigations by other departments.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement corrective action and improved controls.
Prepare documentation in response to subpoenas, government inquiries, and other internal investigations.
Conduct compliance audits globally to ensure continued compliance with the Company\xe2\x80\x99 policies and business practices.
Analyze data to identify statistically significant compliance risk areas and trends.
Track national and international developments in investigation best practices to update or modify the Company\xe2\x80\x99s investigation process.
Plan, coordinate, and execute global initiatives to assist in managing compliance risks, including assisting in global, regional, or country specific risk assessments.
Provide in-person compliance training and outreach to operational partners.
20% travel.
Required Qualifications
Completion of an undergraduate degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience conducting investigations or audits at an audit or forensic firm, accounting firm, international company, law enforcement unit, or law firm
Experience with investigations involving finance and accounting matters or education in finance and accounting strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high degree of organization skills
Ability to multi-task and to handle a high-volume caseload
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Team player, with the ability to lead group projects
Ability to conduct investigations in a second language
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles (i.e., Senior Investigator) given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from Compliance Investigator to Senior Compliance Investigator.
